Nascimento: 12 de Novembro de 1982 (41 years)

Born and raised in Houston, Texas in 1982.

A highly motivated producer, director and writer for film, Jonathan is best known for making visually striking, entertaining, and high-quality independent productions. Since 2011, Jonathan's projects, made under the banner of his production company, Bohemian Industries, have won 100+ festival and industry awards in a variety of categories.

As of October, 2015, his highest profile film project saw him as the creator, writer, producer and director of "An Evening with My Comatose Mother," which sits as the most awarded horror short film of all-time with 76 international festival and industry awards and over 100 festival selections.

In 2014, Jonathan also became the Founder and Director of FilmQuest, a new film festival that celebrates the majesty and might of genre cinema. The inaugural year was a hugely successful one, with hundreds of submissions generated in a matter of a few months, due in large part to the presentation of the festival, aggressive marketing strategy, and great dedication given to the filmmakers by all those involved. The second year of the festival saw it grow tremendously, with over 1,200 submissions from around the world, along with the distinction of being named one of the "50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee" by MovieMaker Magazine for 2015.

His first film, "I Am from Nowhere: The People History Ignored," was made because it allowed him to finally get into filmmaking. It was the first thing he ever shot, edited, etc. While he didn't necessarily want to get into documentary filmmaking, it was a catalyst that taught Jonathan how to work at quick speeds and on a tight budget.

As of the end of 2015, other works of Jonathan's include the music videos "Electric Light," "I"ll Always Be Young," "Demons," and "Shine." He is also prepping two new short films for 2016 release, a dark fantasy titled "Kiss the Devil in the Dark," and a thriller combining Jack the Ripper and Frankenstein "Creatures of Whitechapel." Both films were collaborations with his younger sister, Rebecca, who has followed her brother into the film industry.
