Native of Seoul, Korea, living in New York City. Following her training at the Institute of Culinary Education in 2009, she refined her craft at some of New York’s finest Michelin starred restaurants including Jean Georges, Gilt and Adour. She also worked in the finance field for many years, including earning an MBA from the University of Chicago. In 2012, she began her career as an independent culinary instructor.
