Lamin is a British Actor of African descent. Born and raised in rural Gambia, West Africa, Lamin moved to the United Kingdom in his early twenties to read his postgraduate degree at The University of Birmingham. He successfully secured a professional job just before graduating from University and eventually moved closer to his work in London.

A chance meeting at a social gathering in Christmas 2010, between Lamin and an acting agent, lead to a complete career change. He was described by the agent as a stand-out figure, unique with an engaging personality, one that was so captivating that he could not help but approach him and convinced him modelling and acting would be viable alternatives to his career if he were to consider them.

After almost a year of hesitation and repeated phone calls and emails from his agent he eventually obliged and ventured into the wilderness, a new career he knows nothing about was beckoning. Cisco communications came calling, and was quickly followed by various Short and Feature Films, TV roles as well as theatre and commercials.
