In this narrative film, we jump into Jade and Effy’s lives, two women who exist in a paradox of achieving authenticity while living in a materialistic world. In their time of desperation for money, they battle through the male gaze, desires, intimacy, and mass media while relying on their community. As Covid-19 has displaced many from their traditional careers, sex work has skyrocketed for better or worse. It is crucial to create a space where the representation of survival in the sex industry is recognized. We’re here to represent how women sex workers are simply women at work; whether they work to survive or to fund the lifestyle they desire, it should not matter
