"-Did you bring a horse for me? -Well, looks like we're...Looks like we're shy one horse. -You brought two too many." * "Hey, Harmonica. When they do you in, pray it's somebody who knows where to shoot. Go away. I don't want you to see me die."
"In the middle of that office building... Do you hear this? I stopped...in the middle of the building and I saw the sky! And I... I... I saw the things that I love in this world. The work and the food and the time to sit and smoke. I looked at that pen in my hand and I said, "What am I grabbing this for? Why am I trying to become what I don't want to be? What am I doing in an office? Making a contemptuous begging fool of myself, when all that I want is out there waiting for me? The minute I say it, I know who I am. Why can't I say that, Willy? - The door to your life is wide open! - Pop, I am a dime a dozen and so are you. - I am not a dime a dozen! I am Willy Loman and you are Biff Loman! - I am not the leader of men, Willy! And neither are you! You were never anything but a hard-working drummer who landed in the ashcan like all the rest of them. I am one dollar an hour, Willy! I am not bringing home any prizes anymore, and you're gonna stop waiting for me! - You vengeful, spiteful mutt! - Yeah, Pop! Pop, I'm nothing. I'm nothing, Pop. Can't you understand that? There's no spite in it anymore. I'm just what I am, that's all."
HUAHAUA Que fase!
"See, Captain, when my grandfather and my uncle's father came here, there was nothing. The Vietnamese were nothing. So we worked hard, very hard, and brought the rubber from Brazil and then plant it here. We took the Vietnamese, work with them... make something... something out of nothing. So when you ask me why we want to stay here, Captain...We want to stay here because it's ours, it belongs to us. It keeps our family together. I mean, we fight for that.. While you Americans, you are fighting for...the biggest nothing in history."
PS: Uma semana pra checar o celular do suspeito? Que isso produção!
- What are you telling me? That you're gonna leave Emily and run away with the... the winner of the Zelda Fitzgerald Emotional Maturity Award? - Look, I love her. - What kind of crazy friend are you? - A good friend. I introduced you two. - Why? What was the point? - Cos I thought you liked her! - I do! Now we both like her! - Yeah, well, I liked her first. - "l liked her first." What are you, six years old? Jesus! - Look, would I have encouraged you to take her out if I still liked her? - So you liked her? Now you don't like her? It's early. You can change your mind one more time before dinner. - Don't get sarcastic about this. You think I like this? - How long were you gonna see her without telling me? - Don't turn this into one of your big moral issues. - You could've said, but you... All you had to do was call me and talk to me. I'm understanding. I'd have said no, but you'd have felt honest. - I wanted to tell you about it. I knew it would upset you. I... We had a few innocent meetings. - A few? She said one. You guys should get your story straight. Don't you rehearse? (...) - I mean, we're just people. We're just human beings. You think you're God! - I gotta model myself after someone.
"- I'm stuck. Does it get easier? - No... Yes. It gets easier. - Oh, yeah? Look at you. - Thanks... The more you know who you are, and what you want, the less you let things upset you. - Yeah. I just don't know what I'm supposed to be. You know?" <3 * A fotografia do filme é linda!
"I suppose, in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go. But what always hurts the most, is not taking a moment to say goodbye (...) I know Richard Parker is a tiger, but I wish I had said: - It's over, we survived! Thank you for saving my life. I love you, Richard Parker."<3
